 Today our lecturer was teach to us about computer. He also teach us about compenent from computer, so that time we should know the basic like what computer have such as hardware and software. Other than that, we were learned about characteristic of computer.

So, Computer is a ‘programmed’ machine. Hardware and software are the main entities of a computer, but not to forget other elements such as people and data. There are many reasons why we are dependable on computers and its world.

We also learned about How do computers represent data?. From note what our lecturer teach it was a bit or byte. This time I was learned how to calculate like decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal. By now, I have learnt how to read and write numbers in decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal. Convert a number string in a number system into other number systems. Appreciate the uniqueness of numbering system especially in making  the computer understand human’s instructions.
